Oh where to start:
I bought a new trigger for my SA. its a 3 hole slide and cylinder with over travel screw.
I had to file and stone it down to fit which was the easy part getting it in the frame. the other parts I installed were a extended  thumb safety and MSH.

with every thing fit I got good safety checks without the slide on.
I put on the slide and when it pushes the dis-connector down into the frame it won't come back up, and its causing the trigger not to work at all, just keeps the hammer locked back.
Now i can take a small flat head screwdriver and push up through the mag well on the spring / bottom of the DC and it pushes it back up and functions fine till the DC goes back down on a cycle

I tested this without the slide on and if I manually push the DC down it does the same thing.

Looking in both the Kuhnhausen books I'm not seeing anything that really covers this expect maybe the sear spring holding tension?

Here in lies the issue, I reinstalled the old trigger and it functions a hundred % with slide on and off the frame. I measured both triggers and I cut the new one the same measurements to the old one, the only difference is the old one is the GI style (shorter trigger), and the new one has a small indent on the top
in the back where the disconnect touches it as well as a small tab sticking down on the bottom however looking at it in the frame it doesn't seem to because causing it .

Any ideas I really like to get the new trigger working as it has a nice 3.5 pound break when the disconnect works properly.

Sounds like you need to adjust your over travel stop in your new trigger.

I'll try that, thanks SGB!

I know it's late, but I can't picture it in my head

SGB, would the pre-travel have anything to do with it?

Tried adjusting the screw still does it> Its almost the disconnector is falling to far down, cause I can push it back up from the mag well with a very small flat screwdriver and it will reset. Hmmm...

The center leg of the sear spring rests against the bottom of the disconnector, increase pressure by bending this leg inward slightly.

Yep that fixed it Thanks SGB!
