I've got a Colt Delta Elite... I'm not happy with the CMC Shooting Star Magazines - The screws for the slam pads bound up before going all the way in, and the heads stripped. They don't always trip the slide stop. And that flimsy stamped follower makes me nervous.

Who makes good 10mm mags? I use Wilson 47s for my .45... any other makers?

I've never had any issue with either Colt Original mags (pricey) or MecGars.  Neither is set up for slam pads though.  Might want to just buy the Wilson 10mm mags.

Just use your 47D's. Otherwise, Wilson makes a special 10mm 47NX 9-round magazine.

You guys load 10mm into the .45 mags? Why didnt I think of that?

You can't load 10mm into 45 mags and expect them to function. Wilson makes good 10 mag but I believe Tripp's are the best.

Because it either works or it doesn't.  Lots of folks report good luck doing so but when I tried doing this with my Delta it failed to feed properly.

That's too bad. I run 10mm through my Delta with 47D's all day long. FMJ and JHP of all flavors.

This definitely falls into that "Your mileage may vary" territory I guess.

I just thought everyone did it. I used the CM Power Mags in my 10mm Razorback and they ran fine. (held 11 rounds to boot).

Always try to buy the best and at $35.00 a piece, Tripp's are the best.
