I am part of a group that just did a special order of some Para SF-45-A.  In addition to getting them 4 months late, there have been numerous issues with these weapons.  My issue was that the safety broke after about 2 hours of handling it.  Just a heads up for those thinking of buying from Para that you may want to reconsider.

I tried 2 Paras. They were complete junk. I didn't even shoot the second one before I ditched it.

I hear that a lot- would be better to swallow if their prices reflected it- but they are high for the problems they seem to have....

It's been this way for years. After you drop hundreds in a para it might run OK.

I've had two and still have one. I have a Warthog that I like a lot and no issues and had a GI expert that shot well but had the typical crappy Para finish. If they had something I really wanted or found a great deal on one I would give one another try and I haven't been burned by them yet.

I agree.  They may have use to be good, but not anymore.  Now I'm in for a good Colt or Springfield.  I'm leaning toward Colt considering the 100 year anniversary.
