I'm looking for a couple sources for a stripped 1911 frame of good quality for a build.
I have one I built on a stainless Capian frame and slide and I love it. I spent way more money on it than intended but its my favorite pistol and I learned alot in the process. I want my next build to be more basic and utilitarian. I remember seeing a link somewhere to Caspian's manufacturer (Pinetree Casting?) and saw on their sight(casting facility) some cosmetic blemish frames at a discount, alas I can no longer find the link. If anyone knows where I can find it or another manufacturers site it would be appreciated. I probably dont need another 1911 but hey its cool and I want one. I know this has been covered somewhere else but I must be tired and cant find it. thanks |
