Im trying to find the 1911 I want but I need some help finding it.

Im looking for a CCO configuration(Commander slide on an officers frame)
I want a beavertail style safety and a mag guide MSH.

Bassically I'm looking for a SA TRP style setup in a CCO size. I was looking at the DW CCO but having the rounded butt makes it hard to install a Mag guide MSH right?

Colt Custom Shop is making CCOs now, but not calling them CCO... It's called the SCO

STI Guardian is similar but a 4" barrel instead of the standard commander length:

Colt is aluminum (lightweight) frame and the STI is steel frame.

If you're so inclined STI makes a CCO-ish version of their "2011" double stack mag pistol called the VIP, which is a really nice pistol.

The reason for the Officer frame is for concealment on the CCO,adding a magwell makes the grip the same lentgh as a full size 1911,and your back to trying to conceal the grip  of the pistol. If your gonna have a "full size" grip, you might as well get a commander size and add a few more rounds in the mag.....

/\ what he said.
a magwell limits the type of mags you can use.
i have an sa compact: officer grip w/4 inch slide. it's a nm frame, bought in 93. chip mccormick mag holds seven rounds
to start out today i'd go dw or sti but it's your $$$.

I just received my LB stinger. I put a S&A mag well on it and it's still smaller than my full size. The only full size equivalent might be a weld on mag well and 8rd mags that fit flush. This setup might be my next build, but I don't regret the CCO at all.
