I am looking to purchase my first 1911, and I'm looking for a 4" steel frame bobtail.

what are my options from least expensive on up.

I would REALLY like a Wilson Combat, or a Nighthawk but I think they may be a little too pricey for me.

I've got a Dan Wesson Guardian 45 (Alloy Frame) It is bobtail too. They are great shootin guns!

You could always get whatever gun you want then send it to someone like Chuck Rogers. BTW his bobtail jobs are the sex!

Good used Colt that some guy shot his finger off with and sold to me for $500. Jig and MSH from Ed Brown. Drill bit from Grainger. Do it yourself like I did,.
