Taurus has had major issues with every single line of guns they make at one time or another

I'll second that.  The Brazilians should stick with what they are good at; soccer and shaving taints.

Mine is personal experience but if you dont want to listen thats cool with me. They have built plenty of good guns as well as bad. The problem is spotty QC.

Taurus has the highest return rate of any mainstream gun company that I have ever dealt with

This is a well known thing in the firearms industry as a whole. I am not just talking trash on Taurus

OK, here is my personal experience.  I bought a brand new Taurus .44 mag and had timing issues with it right out of the box.  The revolver was so out of time it was shaving bullets as they entered the forcing cone.  I sent it back to Taurus and they supposedly fixed it.  Got it back and it was the same as before - not fixed.

I worked at a large retail outdoor chain for over 8 years and seen many Taurus firearms come back for various reasons. This has been my experience and the reason I will never buy another Taurus product.  Is everything they make junk?  No, but I am not willing to take the risk.

We sent one back because one finger on the extractor was bent up on a brand new gun. Their solution, cut the bent up finger off and sent it back to the customer

I know one officer that had a railed Taurus 1911. His problem was holsters. I would not fit in his holster when all other 1911's did. Kind of a draw back.

My Taurus experience was good at first, then for shit. I had a PT99AFS 9mm. A really sweet little gun. It was both accurate and reliable. I sold it to a friend. Anyway I liked it so much I bought a PT92AF. That was a lemon. Taurus machined the crown on the barrel sideways. I mean literally sideways. I figure it must have slipped in there machining process and it never got caught in QC. So I called Taurus. They refused to do anything with my barrel because I had already replaced all the springs with wolf springs saying I void all warranty. I argued this has nothing to do with what I did, this is clearly your doing, a manufactures defect. Nope they hung up on me. I had my gunsmith correct it and promptly traded it in on a Springfield XD. I don't believe I'll buy anything ever again from Taurus.
