Just like the title says. There are a ton of companies out there that make custom ones. I'm "pimping" out a 1911 and want wood grips with my AF function badge inlaid into it (about the size of jump wings). Not etched, but a real badge put in the wood. The other side will have my rank inlaid into it. Is this possible? And who will do it and do a good job?
I’m in no big rush but I want the whole pistol done by my retirement in 2 years. And yes I will be using a Colt as a base gun. (I don't have a colt yet) I have not decided on which model. And yes, I will post pics of build and final product. Thanks |

Thanks everyone. Great start for me. I have around 30 days till I rotate home and I needed some recommendations on this. I will be back to ask about other things about "pimpin" my 1911 up. I have in my head what I want, I just got to get with smiths and such to see how feasible it all will be.
