Wisconsin may finally be getting concealed carry.
I must prepare myself.

I'm looking for feedback on the Kimber Super Carry Custom.
It's a 5 inch 1911 designed for carry and sells for ~$1300.  Both an aluminum and SS frame model is available.

I think it would be a fine choice.

agree, and while many will say aluminum, I say you go with the stainless.  Kimber makes a beautiful stainless frame.

Why do they call it round heel frame?  Why can't they call it bobtail like every other manufacturer on the market?  Otherwise, I'd get it.

Save up another $200 and get a Les Baer.

Or a Colt and a couple hundred dollars' worth of ammo.

Or a TRP.

I think "bobtail" is trademarked. Also it isn't a traditional bob, I think less material is removed.

It's a great platform.

I want to pick up a SCC HD, but haven't been able to locate anyone locally that has them in stock yet.
