Anybody know who can or if it can be repaired. The locking lugs on my buddys 1911 mixmaster are peened. Can they be repaired? And who would do this? This gun was a gift from his dad and we would like to keep it the way it was given to him.

They would have to be welded up and recut. It can be done but I don't know how many of the new timey smiths do it. You'd have to call and ask.
