Anyone have any info about them? Found one for $445 and I'm itching to get a 1911 frame. Any info, good or bad, is welcome.

I have one, an early production model, and it's been great. Over 500 rounds though it now without any issues. Did switch out the cheezy plastic grips panels though for some Pachmayrs.
