I'm not a 1911 guy, so pardon the dumb question. Should the safety levers ever move independent of each other? Logically, it doesn't make sense that they should not move simultaneously.
This is what I am seeing:: if left and right levers are down, then the hammer falls if left lever is down and right lever is up, then the hammer falls if left lever is up and right is down, then the hammer does not fall if left lever and right levers are up, the hammer does not fall Thanks. |

I appreciate the suggestion, but I don't like the ambidextrous safety. If it is in fact broken, I will call RIA and see if they can send me a standard safety. Pretty disappointing, really, as I've only had 100 rounds through it. |
