Ala P35 cuts,has anyone done this? It is on a loaded springer,never liked them so...i thought about having the slide milled.

I've done this on a couple of slides.   It's simple enough; the main thing you have to watch out for is cutting too deep, which will expose the bushing lug cut.  It's also nice if you can match the end of the cut with the front of the dust cover, but this is purely an aesthetic consideration.

I've never been a big fan of the Browning hi-power aesthetic with the "browning cuts" on the front of the slide, but I do have to admit, that looks pretty good, and much better than a 1911 with forward cocking serrations.

CT Brian does make it look a hell of a lot better than I did.

I'm been thinking about doing it to one of my 1911's, much like the Wilson Combat Ultralight.
