Whaddya'll think? Just got in my first SA 1911. Although I own several Kimbers and a Colt, I've wanted a Springer for several years. I waited just under 6 months for this MC Operator to come in and I have to say. SWEET! The moment I got her home I removed the ILS MSH and replaced it with a WC SS Arched MSH with magwell. I also scrapped the Pachmyres for a pair of VZ Operator II's. Some think I'm crazy, but I also put some 3M grip tape on the frontstrap. It's a very personal choice that I've been happy with for years on other pistols, but I digress. I took her to the range two days after pick-up (Damn school delays!) and just wanted to break her in (not shooting for accuracy). I was thoroghly impressed. I fed her 50 rounds of 230 FMJ followed by 32 rounds of Georgia Arms 185gr JHP and she was FLAWLESS! Pics follow.
