Over the weekend I thought I would fire off and cycle the loaded mags I keep in the glove box with my Bulgarian Mak.....In the process and noted that the slide stop would not hold the slide open once I dropped the empty magazine.
It seems from a quick inspection that the internal point on the slide where the release makes contact has worn slightly. I think I can disassemble and perhaps tig weld and reshape the contact point but before I get into that kind of work I'm just curious if anyone else has had/seen this problem and what they did for a fix?
