I currently have a Bulgy with a set of military grips on it.  I've owned a Mak before (Russian IJ), but I was never satisfied with the grips on it either.

Anyone used the Pearce grip on a single stack Mak?  I'm just looking for a decent general purpose grip that feels better than holding a 2x4.

Yup...Pearce is nice.
I have 2 - only issue is that they are larger the the Mil grip.  I've been using my EG Mak as my CCW (in a Milt Sparks SS2) and they are alittle too bulky for me.  (I'm 5'7" 155 lbs)
