I have a p-08 tha I inherited from my uncle. Prior to him recieving it, some barbarian nickel plated the poor thing. I'm wanting it restored to new WWII condition. I found lugerman and he is very quick on email response and very detailed about his restoration practices. Does anyone have any feedback on him?

Thanks, Dan

I think there is some pretty extensive feedback on him at lugerforum.com. IIRC, he is quick to get your business, then slows up considerably with response time once he has your pistol stripped down.

Contact Thor (Ted Green) he is the only one I would let touch any of my lugers for restoration. Look through a few posts here and you will find him.

Do you know if he also does Brownings? I was looking to have Bill Adair
do my prewar Hi-Power but understand he has passed away.

Ted is more than capable of doing a Browning HP.

How bout lettering restoration? Gun has no pitting,20% bluing left & a small nick in the crown of the slide.

Ted can have the pitting welded up and dressed down and have the letters touched up by a skilled engraver.
