| sent my carry 9 back to para with slide issues. I had an ejector break and Para sent me one and I installed it , as it was a no brainer, anyway right after that I started to get failure to lock up every magazine, screwed with it and still the same. My theory was the ejector did something but I could not find an issue. Called Para, they said no way is it the ejector, so I sent it in for service. They called me the first of the week and said they fired 64 rounds out of all 4 magazines with 3 different shooters and it was perfect. WTF. So back it came. took it out today and fired 200 perfect flawless rounds. Now can u explaint hat crap to me. Love the gun, the most accurate handgun I have ever shot, but jsut mystified as to what is going on. Goes bang every time since I had it but slide lock issues were there at the beginning and a new slidle lock lever took care of that for over 2000 rounds, until the ejector broke and a newone was installed. I have a hard time believing Para did not do "something" to make this gun work as it should, but anyway, it is good to go and oh what a sweet sweet handgun this is... |
| IME, Para repair department left much to be desired, and frankly I am shocked it came back without the same issues. I wouldn't rule your theory out either. Better for consumer confidence to make you look like the idiot and fix than admit to the issue and have it broadcasted. |
