So I have just placed my order for my third SF-45, I have one engraved with my unit for OIF 06-08, OIF 09-10, and now OND is on the way. My question is I was cruising around the Para pro shop website and noticed they sell slide kits. Does any one have one or use one on their SF-45? Also if anyone has pics of a SF-45 or P14.45 Tactical that has a 4.25" slide on it that would be sweet. The slide kit I want to purchase is the 15.40 kit and run the shorter slide on my fullsize Tac frame. Has any one done this? Are there any known issues with running this combo? Any input, information, or pics would be great.

I have read the reviews and the thread about the SF-45s, Its sad to see this happening and especially on the fact these pistols are primarily going to service members aswell. What I don't understand is the SF-45 and the P14.45 Tactical are almost identical in appearance atleast, is there really that much different internally with the pistols that commands such a price and quality difference?
