Nothing about a new, compact 10mm that I remember except vaporware and conversions.
There was a thread a while back about the Boberg, someone said it was going to be available in 10mm, is that what you're thinking of?  If so it's vaporware, even the 9mm isn't being sold yet from what I can tell.  And that's a little bitty thing, smaller than a Glock 26, not sure I'd want something that small in 10mm, and if they're taking this long trying to figure out how to make the 9mm version feasible, I wouldn't hold your breath waiting on the 10mm.
There was a conversion from 40 S&W to 10mm someone did to a AMT Backup, same with a both .40 and .45 S&W 3rd gen pistols.  And there was a Glock 36 converted to 10mm using a G29 top end and some bubba'd G36 magazines.  And of course there are tons of 1911 conversions, but I don't remember anything smaller than a commander size gun.
Sorry, right now it's looking like the Glock 29 and the Witness 10mm compact are your two options for new manufactured compact 10mm pistols.

Edited to add :  Here's a link to the Boberg thread.  http://www.ar15.com/archive/topic.html?b=5&f=4&t=88507

Thanks, the Boburg is what I was looking for. Guess I may purchase a 29 now.

It's your best bet for a compact 10mm right now, and I'm guessing the situation won't change anytime soon. And even if another compact 10mm appears on the market chances of it being better than a G29 isn't good.

I'd love to see a compact, single stack 10mm, but I'm not holding my breath, and if one does appear chances are good it will be a 1911 type pistol and the cost will be high.

Buy the G29 and don't look back.
