I have a question. From many discussions about various pistol cals, I keep hearing that a .40 has more "muzzle flip" and more recoil than the larger .45 ACP in the same model/size pistol. For example it was told to me that a .40 cal compact pistol is more difficult to control and obtain fast second shots than a .45 cal compact pistol of the same size (roughly) becasue the .40 is "snappier" than the .45. Can someone provide me with an explanation as to why this is? |
