Not sure if this is the right forum, but I think I'd like to get a sight pusher and I don't know a whole lot about them.

1. Can they be used to completely remove and install sights, or just adjust them?
2. Are they pretty much universal, or should I be concerned with compatibility with the handguns / dovetails I have?
3. Which kind do you guys recommend?

Thanks in advance!

They remove, install and adjust.   Midway has the B&J universal sight tool on sale now, and it is the model I recommend.  They work on autos but not revolvers.   I also have a SigSauer tool and it works on XDs too.   They are sort of pricy but I get use out of mine and I use it to help the guys at work replace their sights when needed.

Thanks.  I just checked out the one on Midway.  That looks nice, and the price isn't bad considering what it can do.  I was shocked by how much the Glock and Sig tools were!
