I have a springfield XD9, and bought a .40 mag to use as a 9mm high cap for match shooting. However the slide locks back with 1 round still in the mag...

I understand I need to bend the lips of the mag in a big to make this function properly, but my question is how?

Just grab my needle nose plyers and bend or what?

Okay... this tells me how much to adjust it and what it should look like after its adjusted (which is good... I did need to know this) but now I need to know HOW to do it...

is there a tehnique to it other than just taking out my plyers ??
