Wife decided we needed a snake gun. Well, OK.

Fun toy, and will definitely work on snakes.

This afternoon, I picked up a ZEV OZ9 Elite Standard (w/ bronze barrel) on a trade. The pistol is still new. It now joins my OZ9 Elite Standard (w/ threaded bronze barrel) and an OZ9C Hyper Comp (w/bronze barrel). Eventually, the new OZ9 will get an optic of sort and Glock 17-rd. magazines with ZEV extended baseplates.

Grit Grips frame with OEM internals.
First pic with an 507C equipped slide:

Second pic with a FDE P80 slide:

I have a JohnnyGlocks Combat trigger on the way which hopefully is an improvement on the Glock trigger the frame came with.

It cleaned up nicely, and is now a clone to my carry gun. Attachment Attached File

The recoil on the Glock 20 is not bad at all. I find the recoil to be no more than that of a Glock 21 (.45ACP). I have had mine for years and it is actually enjoyable to shoot.

The Glock 20.5 with no extra back strap fits my hand very well and is very shootable.   I feel more recoil in my hand shooting a hot 9 mm in my Glock 48 than my 180 grain FMJ in my Glock 20.5.   The Glock 20 10 mm gets more reaction on my steel plates.   The larger frame seems to soak up the recoil very well and I can get pretty quick follow up shots.   All I’ve shot so far are 180 grain FMJ in Starline brass with 8.5 grains of Accurate #5.  I haven’t chronographed this load yet but I figure they are at least 1150 FPS maybe faster.

Are we talking commercial loaded 10mm or full house balls to the wall loaded 10mm?  One thing I have learned there is 10mm and there is 10mm!!!!

Picked this up on GB for $134.99 as the only bidder.

After a complete disassembly, cleaning and paint removal, I have this. I still have a little paint on the mag extension but I can live with that.
