I was looking at the Sig 220 today with Rails, Rubber Grips, and in the Stainless format with Night Sights and 2 mags...

NIB, dealer wanted 799.00. Good price or keep looking?

Not hijacking but is  the new 220 with the extended flared mag well and fiber optic fsight  even out yet?  The one  Langdon endorses.  If so how much?

Sounds about right for all those bells and whistles. SIG is an expensive gun. Good gun though. Good resale as well.

SOG advertises night sight stainless 220s for $650.

Probably the cheapest grips and no rail though.

They are expensive because they are great guns.  My P220 is worth 70% or so what I paid for it (brand new), and it's 11 years old.

I've noticed that the 220s are about the same price as the 226/229 models.  If they cost a few bucks more it might be because of more metal for the larger caliber.  Who knows?

I agree, they are good guns.  It is one of only two .45's that I'll own.  The other being, you guessed it, a 1911.  I like the looks of the Langdon version.  Wish I knew how much they were gonna be.
