I was looking at Sigs today... and the model 220 seems to be more expensive over all than the other sigs... I have never owned one, but is there a reason for this?

I would assume production quantities.

Could be because it's one of the few they still import from Germany. Most of the SIGs have a German frame and US slide and parts.
