[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Sig p229 value

I bought a Sig p229 with plans of selling it from a friend who needed some quick cash. I shot it today and I was surprised that I liked it so much. Anyway, I think I may still sell it because it is not something I would have bought in my long list of guns that I want, so what do you think I should ask for it? The grips have been replaced with Hogue wrap arounds ( very fat for my hands, but ok), one mag, night sights, no box. Good condition.

You see police trade-ins from time to time for <$500.

no rail. Frame made in Germany. Slide made in NH.
