Didn't get an answer to this in the Springfield forum; thought I'd try a broader audience:

Anyone out there put a MMC low mount tactical carry sight for a Sig on their XD? Any problems? Did you do it yourself or have a gunsmith install it?

No, I put an LPA adjustable SIG sight on the XD. It worked OK but I wouldn't recommend it. I ended up removing it after a few months.
