I am afraid not. Check it out http://www.magnumresearch.com/Baby_Eagle.asp

They are actually making or importing P99's clones..

lol, I wish it was that simple.  Magnum decided to replace the beautiful old Baby Eagle with the fugly P99, which I'm sad to say I owned once.  This is such a fail on their part.

I had a P99 in 40 cal once. I dont think it was that ugly, but never really enjoy shooting it in 40. I would much rather have the 9mm version. The version that Magnum Research is selling is very f...g ugly.. I agree...

Unlikely to be Israeli.  Walther handles Magnum Research products in Germany, so it is likely a pre-existing relationship they are taking in a new direction.  I know that Poland is a licensed manufacturer of the P99, and I've heard that Turkey is as well but I've never seen one.

As the owner of an 06 P99 AS, I think the gun is as ugly as you can get.  Frame is also a weird combination of a more "normal" light rail (as compared to the proprietary first gen and short second gen), a first gen slide release, and the non-ramped trigger guard of the second gen models.  Grip texture is also fairly unusual but throw enough money at them and Walther will make it, like the SW99.

If nothing else, I'm glad there will be an additional source for magazines as the S&W/Walther prices for them suck.
