Hey Fellows, I've recently had a gun returned from our fine friends in Arizona. This gun started life as a fairly good limited production peice, but I thought that getting a few things done to it would be nice. Technically, this gun started as a "Two Tone, Ed Brown Class A Limited Bobtail Commander with Nightsights". Quite the mouthful. I sent it down for some minor stuff, but Ted fixed this one up good! Here is what was done: Flatten and serrate top of slide to a point. Serrate rear of slide to match sight. Replace sights with Heinie Slant-Pro Straight Eights. Bevel front sight to match slide. Cut the front strap high and smoothe. Recut 30LPI front strap checkering (factory looked like crap). Checker MSH to match front (these come bald from EB). Ramp and throat work. Refinish. I'd also swear that he did something with the trigger. While it was nice before I sent it to him, it's is absolutely exceptional now. I was shocked to see that it still broke at about 3 pounds, as it feels lighter. Overall, this guns is fantastic. No complaints, and the work just looks extraordinary.
