For those that have had the Apex striker block and hard sear installed, did you send the pistol to Apex to get this done or did you do it yourself?  What is involved in a DIY installation?  I can do some parts fitting myself.

I did the work myself. They are drop in parts and require no fitting. Apex Tactical has some videos on Youtube showing the installation.

I've only dealt with the new sear, but it took me less than 10 minutes to install 2 today with 2 punches and a hammer. Extremely easy and the videos clearly outline what you need to do.

Hardest part is finding the sear detent spring and pin when it flys out of the assembly

Honestly hardest parts was installing the trigger return spring. I found that dental floss works great for getting the trigger pin lined up.
