Thanks for the good videos. I haven't seen much of the FNX's outside of your review.

Good review, thanks for posting. Keeping an eye on this FNX pistol. Curious when the FNX45 will be available.

Actually, the FNX 9 and FNX 40 are really just scaled down FNP-45s.

I don't think you will see the FNP-45 renamed to FNX.

Very true, all the features that are in the FNX are already in the FNP45.

From the messages i'm getting from the videos, looks like the magazine and backstrap issue might just be my pistol.  Someone checked their gunshop and handled a duo tone and black slide.  Both had tight magazine lockup and tight backstraps.

This wonder that we call the internet does tend to blow all problems way out of proportion, not to say that your problem isn't real, it certainly is.  The truth is you can go to any manufacturer specific forum on the web and find post after post about problems.  It's the nature of the beast, the majority of owners who have no issues simply don't come online and say anything.

I hope you can get this worked out ainokea, the FNX does have a lot going for it.  It would be a shame it this can not be rectified on your pistol.

Has Bob at FNH seen the video yet?

Yup the stamped metal decocker was my only hangup with the FNP. I then decided to go with an XD9. But now that I see this I believe I will be adding one to my collection at the first opportunity.

Quite a few FNP owners don't like the flared metal decocker.  In my opinion the FNX safety/decocker is a great improvement.
