hey, I just saw a nice Beretta 92 in the case at my local fun shop.
My question is this, I need a nice range gun. No, No, not personal protection, not CC or a home defender, just your basic range 9 mm for a more than casual target shooter. NOT IPSC or any serious venue. The guy next to me in the shop says the 92 is really capable of just combat accuracy. Is this true? I thought they, as a group, were a little better than that. I have seen reports of both good and bad accuracy, many of the latter are coming from guys who really cant shoot! I saw Nutnfancy's review and it was kinda inconclusive. He seems to do all his shooting at 7 yds anyway, which to me, shows little and hides much. ( he is good, knowledgeable reviewer though) So, your thoughts on the 92????/ thanks billy boy |

IMO, the guy at the shop is mistaken. The 92FS is a very accurate pistol.
To answer your question, for a range gun only, I believe the 92FS is one of the best choices in 9mm. It is so easy to shoot, so smooth and light recoiling. It is an absolute joy to shoot. A 92FS would be a great range pistol. |
