A new Sig!
German made, slide and frame, P228R Every year on 9-11 I purchase a gun to commemorate the loss of friends that day, this year's purchase was a German Sig P228R. Just got back from the range and 400 flawless rounds through it, shoots like a dream! What should I name her?

Sig has made some internal process and parts acquisition changes that have degraded their product line a fair bit. It used to be that Sigs were about as reliable from the box as any handgun could be...but that's not the case anymore. They can still build a good handgun...it's just the odds of getting a lemon are higher now than ever, and their new management sucks balls. |
