| I'm a hard core Glock guy, but I handled one of these today, it feels nice, I'm looking at the 9mm. How do they shoot, are they reliable? I wanna hear from guys who own one, not somebody who just has an opinion.. |
| I seem to remember a discussion in the Taurus forum, but it seems to have been pushed into the archives. There doesn't seem to be many of them out there. |

probably going to have a hard time finding someone who owns a Taurus and likes it. I love my Taurus 627. I'm the second owner and it just keeps ticking (and was CHEAP!). But that doesn't answer OP's question. |

I'd like to like it... they seem to have done a lot of things right. But I'm not going to roll the dice on one until I can get it a LOT cheaper than they're selling it for. On balance, I haven't heard a lot of encouraging things about it. Same here, it's got some great features. but it's a Taurus. I was hoping it was a diamond in the rough. |

I wanna hear from guys who own one, not somebody who just has an opinion.. Have you handled or shot a SA XD9? I sell guns and I have handled every Glock I've sold for me customers and I have not found one that fits my hands. I really like the XD's and own three. If you haven't held one, give it a try. |
| My first pistol was a 24/7 in 9mm and at the time i didnt know about the company's track record. But after many trips to the range and about 400 rounds im happy with it. It is accurate enough for me and i've had no problems with reliability and it feeds hollows well. I also own a Taurus 38S and it has also given me no problems. Plus they have a lifetime warranty so you should be GTG. After reading Taurus reviews online i guess i just got lucky...or maybe the brand-myopic gun snobs out there have never actually owned one. Just my opinion. |
