| I have an AR 15, a Sig Misquito and a Springfield XD 45. I have been looking at 9's for a while now to use at the range. I need something without the kick of my XD. It aggravates the nerves in my back with the recoil. I love what i've read about the CZ and after I held it in my hand I am real close to getting the CZ. Any advice? I will consider other brands but I am leaning hard towards the CZ! |

| I have the CZ 75B Omega. The Omega has drop free mags, which I greatly prefer, and something else over the 75B, but I dont remember what. Someone will know. Its a great shooter. Accurate as hell outa the box, my tritium sights were dead on, recoil is light, and its got 16 in the mag, but feels as thin to me as a 1911. I could not be more happy with that gun. Oh, did I mention the trigger is wonderful too? |
| 22lr, I have been using 230 gr Federal, American Eagle, PMC. I have ordered some 185 gr Winchester and Wolf Gold to see if it will lessen the recoil. I would go try it out but it has been back ordered twice! And i can't find any grain lighter than 230 at gun shops nearby. As far as the CZ goes, I''m going to go Stainless 75b. The SP 01 I dont believe comes stainless. |

75s are more common, world-wide, than any other handgun. CZ makes them too - and they invented it in 1975.
American 75s include the Bren 10, the Armalite AR-24 and the harder to find Colt Z40 and Springfield Armory P9. Like a 1911, you can't go wrong with a 75. |

I have shot my 75B more than any other handgun. It has not been 100%, but after the first 5-600 rounds, stoppages have been rare. It has always been at least as accurate as I can shoot...
All in all a very good gun. A few points to keep in mind: Do not expect a 1911-crisp trigger. It is possible, but you still have take up, and long reset. Also, in achieving it you may need to reduce the mainspring to the point that it's not reliable. Not comfortable to carry cocked & locked. The hammer will rub and poke your sides. This can be very uncomfortable carrying IWB, especially if you have a little overhang around your waist. It can have trouble with wide hollowpoints. My gun will not function with Federal HSTs. The slide locks back halfway through the magazine. It may be possible to modify the slide stop, but it's something to be aware of anyway. Do not expect Glock type reliability. It can require tuning to make it work well. Note that many of the parts are staked in place/roll pinned, and not easy to maintain like a 1911 or Glock. That said, it is a great gun. If it fits your hand, there's nothing more to say. |

After that I haven't had any problems with it with ball or HP ammo... |

A NIB P01 and LNIB SP01. both had issues but after several other rounds and a good cleaning, i havent had any problems. from what i understand from the CZ forum, they can have issues with Aluminum case blazers. other then that, the other ones have been great. i shoot mostly FMJ/BALL thru my guns, so i dont expeact any issues. |
