| Anyone familiar with the Star BM 9mm? I bought 2 this weekend at a gun show for $300 for both. Both are in excellent condition and function perfectly. I got 2 spare mags to go with them. They appear to be all steel. Will they hold up to +p ammo. Any info would help. Thanks, Buz |

I have owned these guns for years. Back a few years ago they sold from $225 to $275 each. I know one guy that carried one for about 12 years untill it got stolen. This guy was in the music business and fairly well known and by no means poor. He could eaisly have bought ANY pistol he wanted but he carried the Star BM. They are good reliable and safe pistols and for the price they are selling for now it is one of the best buys in a 9mm. The quality of the Star BM and their low price makes it rather foolish to buy a Highpoint or Jennings 9mm if you need a cheap pistol. |

I have high regards for Star pistiols. I won a 9mm 50 yard shoot with a Star B. I own a B, BM, PD and Lancer. I shoot Nato 9mm in the fullsize B and the BM with no problems. I dont plink with the hot stuff. Good idea to get an extra firing pin, they will bend and result in misfires, Quite easy to replace. EXCELLENT basic semi pistols. Lebrew |
