For you guys who are using a thumbs forward grip, does your support hand thumb that rides parallel to the slide exert any pressure on the frame? I was curious if this thumb just lightly touches the frame, rests on the frame, or doesn't touch the frame at all.

When I shoot; that thumb doesn't touch the slide.

Touches, no pressure. I've known good shooters to use all three methods though.

For some reason I had slide in my mind and meant frame. I'll edit the thread.

I've never seen thumbs forward, be THAT far forward before. Looks like a great way to blow parts of your thumbs off when shooting a revolver.

My thumb ends a half inch from the end of the dust cover on a government model. On a PM9 my thumb extends past the muzzle. On a revolver I fold my thumbs down.

Some one did just that w/ a 460.

This not the grip to use for old fashioned wheel guns.  This grip is for autos only and works rather well.
