Going to get mine today! Called up my shop and told them I was going to pull the trigger and buy it. First 9mm anyone in my family will ever own.
I'll get hell at the range when they're all shooting .45s
Pics will ensue when I get back. Excited and though Id share, First handgun purchase. |

Pics will ensue when I get back. Excited and though Id share, First handgun purchase. Congratulations! I have two, a Stainless(which is stock) and one in Satin Nickel(converted to single action only). As for the .45 shooters that make fun of you, tell them they are stupid for paying twice the cost of what you pay for ammo. 9mm and .45 acp, they both make a hole in the paper. |
| Allright, it's home. I'm on my iPod so I can't upload pics, but I will as soon as I have a chance to get on the computer. Almost changed my mind and bought a Rock Island 1911 while there for $429, but I figured saving sixty bucks isn't as big of a savings as shooting 9mm will be over all. I paid $489 for it, which came out to be $533 after tax. Guy threw in a free box of ammo and a tshirt as well. Shirt is funny and I'll upload a pic. Also, it's the Omega version, so my mags drop free (yay!). I'm not sure how good of a price I got, but judging by my research, it was at least fair. The only thing that worries me is the target they included. It's the digital copy of the one they shot at the factory. Looks like shots were all over the place? I'll upload a pic soon. Final thing I want to say before my next post is this: CZ you need better grips, and sights should be adjustable. Thanks for the second mag though! |

Congratulations. You've purchased what is probably the best(my opinion... and many others...) 9mm pistol on the market today. Make sure you get some Mec-Gar mags(they are the OEM mags for half the price) and plenty of range time. Dry fire the pistol a good bit and get 500 rounds through the tube to smooth out the trigger.
Have fun. |

Heres the pics:
http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p124/chrisa13/CZ75BOmega.jpg Coudnt have it for more than five minutes without doing this: http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p124/chrisa13/CZDissasembled.jpg And this is the target that worries me: http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p124/chrisa13/Target.jpg The shots are pretty far apart for the same point of aim. Everything Ive read says it groups well. Im sure Ill be pleased when I get it to the range, but until then, its bothersome. Too lazy to take pic and upload of the shirt. Front Just says "Gun Store", and the back has the shops phone numner, address, and really big it says. "Your one stop INFIDEL shop!" lol Lastly, discovered a wack grip style today? Some guy who happened to be in the shop when I was buying it wanted to see it so I let him. He used the forward thumbs grip, but his fingers were intertwined/laced together at the front. Like he was praying and holding a weapon at the sime time. Has anyone seen anyone shoot like that before? Or even just hold a weapon like that? EDIT: Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics. |

I wouldn't be surprised at all if CZ actually has somebody test fire them, instead of using a ransom rest. Both my father's CZ75B and my new CZ75BΩ had similar-looking factory targets, yet are definitely far more accurate than I will every possibly be able to acheive. Now, I am a shitty shot for the most part, but managed groups ~1.5" at 10m with mine, standing unsupported. |
| I remember reading that CZ actually has people firing them, although I think it's more of a function test, rather than a acccuracy test, I also seem to remember reading they don't spend alot of time doing this either..( they've probably got a stack of pistols to do) so, that's why the target looks like it does.. |
| Actually I think the target looks pretty good. The group may not be tight, but the mean point of impact is pretty close to point of aim which is what you hope for with fixed sights. There is nothing that can't be adjusted with ammo or a small tap of the drift. I think no worries there. |

I own several semi auto pistols, all are very good quality weapons, FNs and a Glock, but my CZ75B is consistently more accurate for me to shoot. (Though my FNP-45 is darn close).
Whenever I have the CZ75B at the range at least one person will ask me about it after seeing my targets. And I'm no Sgt. York by any stretch. CZs are very accurate, and you will have no trouble beating that factory target. I'm 55 and my eyes are not what they were when I first started shooting, and the range is really not that well lit, but I have no trouble turning the center of an NRA pistol target into a ragged hole at 25 feet. If you shop around you can find a set of the factory rubber "tactical" grips that are far better than the stock plastic ones, that's what I did. And like someone already said, stock up on the Mec-Gar mags. Enjoy your new pistol. |

What is the difference between the standard B and the Omega B? I love my compact. I wish it had the drop free mags like my PCR did. And the soft rubber grips too. Oh well. It shoots great. Neither have liked Blazer aluminum cased ammo though. http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=5&f=37&t=73997 |
