Got a glock 17 1998 model, at the fun show this weekend, its my first glock.  All I have with it is the mag loader and the 10 round mag. and it has no accessories with it, except for aftermarket sights.  Where should I go with my first few dollars for goodies? ......

I personally plan on picking up a Lasermax for my Glock 23. They seem pretty neat.. 635nm internal laser that replaces the factory recoil buffer. They're around $300, but evidently they make a good product that doesn't shoot loose. Grats on the purchase, you're gonna love it.

Look in the EE for decent prices on preban mags...get a couple...then buy ammo...lots of ammo.

Check the EE first, but this company carriers hi-caps, as does CDNN. They are usually non-metal lined/non drop free, but if you shoot a Glock 17 dry you're just plain missing. If you apply Armor All to the mag and mag well they may drop out anyway.

The only think I ever replace on Glocks are the sights. The factory sights are cheap plastic junk. I like Trijicon sights, though I would like to try the Ashley Outdoors sight some time.

If your pistol has rails you might eventually want to get a light to mount on it. In the very little night shooting I have done I have found that the mounted lights work much better than holding a light in your off hand.

This may seem like a stupid question, but what exactly do you mean by dry? Without any lube?

No I meant if you shoot it until there are no more bullets in it. "Dry" is kind of a strange way to phrase that, I have no idea where I got that from.

Go out and get an Advantage Arms .22 upper for it. You'll love it. I liked mine so much that I bought a dedicated frame for it.

Ah, I gotcha now. I kinda like that, I think I'm going to start using it.
