Is it stovepiping?  What do you mean by not ejecting?  Is the ejector loose?  If you are getting stovepipes, you might be limpwristing.  Not saying that IS it, just saying it's a possiblity.

Also, I hear you have to make sure you have the right mags for 9mm that will function with your particular pistol.  Actually that's pretty true for .45 also, but I guess moreso for 9.  If you have pics or a better description, and a better question in your title, you might get better help.

I have had a Kimber Target II in 9mm for about two years.  It is very accurate, but it had a long break-in period: 1,000 rounds!  It doesn't like some brands of ammo.  Monarch(Russian or Eastern European) ammo will not extract from the chamber,  the rim may be too small.  It will happily digest Blaser aluminum cased ammo.  I also tried Federal 147gr. Hydroshock, nickled rounds, no problems.
The weapon also has magazine issues.  I have replaced all but one of my Kimber 9mm magazines.  BUT WAIT....   Don't trash your Kimber magazines followers.  They seem to be the only ones that will operate your slide stop.  Most of my Kimber magazine followers live in Mecgar magazines now; the hybrids usually work.(ymmv)
