Ive been searching and can't seem to find any stickies of " What i need to do when buying a used gun" Bill or sale forums? How to know its not a Hot gun....etc

Well what I have done in the past is do a bill of sale stating the who,what and how much on what date and had local PD/SO do a check then have it signed by a witness aswell and should be good but check your local laws! Or go to a shop and have them mediate the transfer

Tony See that you got the form...still the weapon will be confiscated if it is later found to be stolen. If a local FTF...you should be able to consult your local PD if you fear that it may be stolen. |
