Moving to Virgina in 4 weeks. I will have my CCW about 45-60 days after that.

My Colorado one only took two months. It is great to be able to defend oneself in the bad sections of Denver.

My NY permit is now good in TN, where I go pretty frequently.
So did you buy a handgun for carry yet? I think most people get a bigger handgun than they can realistically carry for their first one. My first handgun was a Glock 21  Oh I bought an IWB holster for it at the same time. |

Yeah I bought a glock 23 I love it I am looking into getting a glock 27 I use Ranger ammo to carry ranger T 165g 40cal

Get good holsters. It takes a few holsters to get a set up you like. I probably have 5 or6 holster for every ccw pistol I have that I will never use again
