ok, i think i understand what you are trying to ask...
YES, it should be ok to load a magazine and drop the slide down to feed a fresh round in most (if not all) properly functioning handguns here's some logic: you have to rack the slide/drop the slide/etc to initially load an auto in the first place by natural design mechanically, autos will not fire if you load in a fresh rnd, unless YOU make it do so... bear in mind however, KEEP YOUR DA*M TRIGGER FINGER OUTSIDE THE TRIGGER GUARD if you have NOT made the decision to shoot and/or your sights are not on target!––SUCH AS WHILE RE-LOADING ***the video example at 0:12 shows improper (unsafe) gun-handling as the user loaded the fresh mag into the firearm WITH his trigger finger still on the trigger––big NO-NO ![]()
ALWAYS obey the 4 rules of firearms handling: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=118&t=190118 |

hey guys i not talking about of automatic guns i talking about to semi guns example glock , beretta , hk , etc... my question is i can pull down the slide release and the gun not fire accidentaly ?? Yes, in any semi auto functioning normally you can release the slide by slingshoting or slide relaease and not fire the pistol. By not using safe gun handling techniques, as pointed out above, you are at risk of a ND/AD. JD |
