Is ACT a good manufacturer of magazines?

I have heard (HEARD, not experienced) their 1911 magazines can be hit or miss. I have heard their sig220 mags are GTG.

overall, "yes"

h/w, for the 1911 mags, one of the bigger complaints is that the rear of the top near the feed lips cracks...i've never had any problems w/ mine––YMMV
