I agree shot placement is everything, but the kill zone on the average whitetail is 8"-10" inches. Therefore I feel 1-2" is too high a standard. I think the range you can shoot 4"-6" groups is more appropriate. Kent |
I was thinking about what little meat will be left, should your shot be "behind the shoulder". At least w/ a neck shot, there'll be some left to eat. Mike |
