Hi guys, i had been carrying a sig p232, easy enough to hide, right? but i just felt undergunned. so today i bit the bullet and bought an H&K 45c, i used to carry an S&W PC 1911 but i had to stop because i have developed a bit of arthritis in my hands so cleaning her was a bit of a pig, anyway i love the H&K but she is a little thicker than i thought she would be, i am asking any of you guys with experience with larger handguns to chime in here, i used to go IWB but am kinda tired of that, or am i just doomed to live that life? i like quite alot of different styles i see, but concealment is a must! educate me guys, i usually use milt sparks products, but i know others have differing opinions, plus i dont want to wait months to have a good carry option. thanks in advance.

Personally, I don't find that IWB conceales that much MORE than OWB.  To me, IWB is mainly effective in concealing the muzzle.  But a longer shirt does that just fine.

I almost always carry OWB.  G23, G17, or 1911.  G17's probably the biggest and thickest feeling of those, but conceals just fine for me.

I like a good leather 2 or 3 slot pancake type holster, with a little forward cant.  I use a Galco Combatmaster for the G17.  Works great.  Good retention, great concealability.

I like it because it has a little less forward cant than alot of Galco's holsters.  It's perfect.

The Bianchi Shadow series is also good.  The lined versions are extremely solid, and still hold very tight to the body for concealment.

These are usually "stocked" items, you'll find them on the racks at alot of gunstores, or if you do order it online, not gonna be one of those "wonder holsters" you have to wait a year for.

I carry my USPc45 in either a OWB Kramer horsehide pancake or a Comptac CTAC.  The grip is too large for me to carry it under just a tshirt.  The grip pushes the shirt out in a fairly pronouced bulge.  I carry it more in the winter when I can wear a sweatshirt or jacket over it.

ETA: I need to try adjusting the cant and height some more to see if I can get it to conceal better.  I've only carried it a few times over the summer so it hasn't been a big priority.

thanks guys for the responses, i did go with the c-tac, when i called i asked alot of questions, and in the middle, just as i was about to order, they gave me a warning, they told me if i did order i would have to have a little patience, it seems that they were running on generators due to thier power being knocked out due to ike, so naturally i had to make my order, just seemed like my way of showing support. so instead of the 10 day wait, they told me it could be as long as 2 weeks, love that american spirit.
