I've got a friend who is looking for a handgun for his wife.  She is have an issue of finding something comfortable in her hand().   Anyway, I was going to suggest pistols with the changeable grips(inserts).  I know S&W and H&K have them. Does anyone know of another maker??

ETA;  Just found out the Sig Sauer has the P250 with that feature.

I have big hands and they work ok for me. but a woman's hands if there small, the add in panels are to make normal grips bigger so i'm not sure that would help her any.
sorry all i know about it.

1911 (short, long, blank trigger, slim normal thick grips, flat arched wedge, bobtail mainspring housing, different grip safties, maching of the frontstrap trigger guard area, etc)
Walther P99
Most wheel guns can have grips changed.

There's a lot of handguns on the market now with interchangable grips.  I would second the suggestion for a Walther P99 though, it has the smallest most female friendly grip short of a subcompact.  You can look at the Walther PPS too, 1.04" thick, but I have never fired one of those so I can't suggest it like I can with the P99.

The new version, PPS, is what I would have them look at....
