Just got a g22 and put a carver scope mount and aimpoint on it. Its very solid and with 30rds whitebox win fmj thru it its 100% reliable with POI holding once sighted in. Thought I'd throw this out there as I couldn't find much info when looking.

That looks like a much better scope than the one I bought. Mine was a plastic scope mount from Israel.

It would not hold zero.

Interesting.  What brand mount is it?

Its a Carver Scope Mount. Its the competition model so I had to rework back sights to get slide on and off. The hunter model sits higher so there is no such problem from what they say. The sight picture would be much better I'm sure too. Got mount used(looked new except you could tell the screws heads were marked up a bit(still had sticker) ) off Gunbroker but do a search on yahoo, etc. if your interested there are few places that carry them. Yeah I wasn't convinced the polymer would hold. First impressions leads me to believe this will hold its very tight going on. It also puts the grip (which is applied by the recoil lug pulling down) along alot of area so I don't believe frame should suffer much wear or distortion. The recoil lug should prevent recoil from batering trigger pin hole. Rail looks flimsy but feels firm.
