I know NJ state police carried the P7M13s. Can't remember, but I know of at least one other.

Port of Seattle Police carry the P7M13. I know of one Tacoma officer who carried a personal P7M8 when everyone else had a revolver.

I'm pretty sure the NJ State Police switched to some thing else a few years ago.

Pensacola FL. PD carried em for years and Utah Highway Patrol used the P7M13s IIRC.

Berrien County, MI

Been years since I lived in the area, so it's probably changed.

I bought one of the first P7M8s imported into this country from a NJ police lieutenant. His PD was going to Glocks and he wanted to give his P7 a good home. It was a Chantilly gun with a serial number in the low 8000s. IE date code which gave it a birthdate in 1984.

I was stupid and sold it...

NJSP switched to SIG P228 a few years ago.

One of the dozens of agencies around DC was carrying them until recently.  I think it was either the Park Police or DC Metro PD.  There may still be a few in use.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department
still authorizes the H&K P7 for off duty carry.
It was used by the SWAT team until the Beretta 92F was adopted for the entire department.

There a poster on, I think, THR that was in charge of making sure they met their doom. He wasn't too thrilled about the while thing.

In that area they should be carrying a couple P7's, a patrol rifle and a couple handgrenades (at least around Benton Harbor).  That can be a rough area.

Years ago there was a Berrien deputy that lost his P7 to a bad guy in a scuffle in downtown Benton Harbor.  He survived it because the badguy couldn't make his P7 work and the other suspect's pistol had a malfunction.

I heard of an incident like that involving a gas station clerk some time ago as well.

Saw a quick segment on Baltimore SWAT, forgot what channel, but they were using P7m13's.
